Teka Hood & Gas Hob - Annual Sales

Think we have been blessed with the luxury for planning early. Too early, some may laugh but we do not mind. We walked into Teka this afternoon after reading on the papers that they are having their 3 days annual sales. Teka’s business span domestic and professional equipment for the kitchen and bathroom, stainless steel storage containers and electronics. In kitchens, Teka numbers among the leading sink and built-in appliance brands, manufacturing high quality home appliances, commercial equipment and kitchen sinks. We didn't think we will be buying any items in Teka and just planned to drop in to recee. But the sales was too good for us not to make any purchases. Thus, explained the birth of our Teka Hood & Gas Hob.
Steven loves their induction hob but had to pull a brake as my mum forbid us to buy them...all due to the myth that glass hob may break with intensive heat. haha! Nonetheless, the lights-on-slider hood makes up for his lost. He is simply so thrill by that gadget. Think we may be back for the sink and mixer. But there may not be any sales anymore :(

Dining Table from The White Collection

Our shining black tempered glass dining table which will triumph our all white theme in the living and dining area. Hope to find our ideal chandelier-like ceiling-drop-light, two cream/white colour high chairs & one red bench chair to complete the look. The search continues...

Dimension: W-75cm, L-130cm, H-75cm

Sofa from The White Collection

Finally, we found the ideal white sofa at an ideal small size for the small space we have. The colour matches the theme we have in mind...although we know we may get hands down from our folks. As a gesture against animal cruelty, we have chosen artificial leather-like material for our sofa set. PU material is also much easier to maintain and the latest technological advancement has allowed it to be more durable, comfortably soft and feel more leather-like. The five (3 Big & 2 Small) dark coloured cushions will be replaced with the same white PU material upon delivery. Maintenance? Maintenance? We were told there will be 'After Sales Service' for cleaning or changing of upholstery. In any case, we have nothing to loose as the price of this classy L-Shape sofa was a fraction of our initial budget.

Dimension: W-218cm, L-150cm/85cm, H-35cm, Back H-65cm

Bed from Lorenzo

"Derived from the name Lorenzo, meaning crowned with laurels, Enzo is stylish and graceful. Simple and elegant. It embraces the philosophy of Zen - a quiet, uncomplicated lifestyle perfect for the minimalist in us."

Thanks to the GSS, we are the happy owner of this bed at slightly below half the retail price (Usual price $1478.32 inclusive of GST and Delivery). We are still looking for a more appropriate bedside table as we feel the original bedside table for this range is a little too complicated for us. We would prefer something single drawer per side, with lesser lines.

Dimension: W-160cm, L-210cm, H-25cm, B/board H-85cm.

My First Purchase for the House

After a tired work day in the Bangkok Sales office, I decided to catch a quick dinner before I head back to the hotel. Walking pass the mall, I caught a quick glance of them by chance. Thou the purchase was a little pre-mature but I cannot resist not getting these from The Emporium at Bangkok. After the 20% sales, I paid a total of Baht 1088.00 for them. It's approximately S$46 for 2 Juice/Water bottles and 6 drinking glasses. Good deal, I thought.
